FIR and UEPG have launched the European Platform for Recycled Aggregates (EPRA) in 2008. EPRA has as its aim to achieve the best use of recycled aggregates for the highest application possible. To that aim EPRA will influence the relevant developments in Europe. EPRA is open to all other organisations which share its goals. EPRA actively involves in topical issues and contributes to the discussion. For instance, EPRA has strongly taken position in the REACH dossier. According to EPRA recycled aggregates are articles and therefore need not to oblige the requirements of the REACH directive. |
